Nice discussion - the VB / C# discussion is interesting and the issues with platforms/support for C# first and VB second. This is obviously not an intentional strategy and the Compilers team who handle both VB and C# have really taken efforts to make sure more goodness to VB in current product cycle. Look at new platforms lit up recently for VB (WP7 / XNA / Micro-framework ) as well as VB getting Iterators and both languages getting Async. The team fully support both languages and we are working with other teams to ensure VB support is there as well - Kinnect SDK had VB Samples immediately on release. We love VB and C#.

Nice discussion Charlie and I cannot agree with you more - people have choice of language but both are fully capable language - embrace your heritage and stop chasing trends.

Great discussion as I reminded to get more involved in the "community" as far user groups to keep skills sharpened. Also, loved going down memory lane. Really fascinating stuff.
Thank-you.

As a past student of Charlie's at BC, it was great to learn more of his past experiences and perspectives. I thoroughly enjoyed this episode; thanks Ken & Charlie!
