In
this episode of CodeCast, Ken Levy interviews Charlie Calvert who discusses his
past at Borland working on Delphi and at Microsoft working on C#. Topics
include Charlie’s career history, communities, book authoring, and developer
education. Charlie is currently a professor teaching C# at the Bellevue
Community College in Washington, and has authored and co-authored many
developer books over the past 15 years. Originally trained as an English major,
Charlie worked as a journalist and college English teacher before turning to
the world of computers.
