Writing For CoDe Magazine

Writing for CoDe Magazine:

Thank you for your interest in writing for CoDe Magazine a developer's magazine written by and created for software developers. Our process is pretty simple.

If you are interested in writing for CoDe here's what you need to do:

  1. E-mail three article abstracts to Editor-in-Chief, Rod Paddock (rodpaddock@code-magazine.com
  2. With your article abstracts include a little about yourself. Please include info about where you work, if you are an MVP, and links to other articles you have written. We don't require that you've written before to write for CoDe. We have worked with numerous authors on their article for professional publication.
  3. After we've reviewed your articles ideas we will select one of your ideas for further development.
  4. You will be asked to develop an outline, we'll send you an author's contract, and will also receive our template. (You can download the template at www.code-magazine.com/downloads/CoDeTemplate.zip)
  5. Upon acceptance of your outline you can start writing your article.
  6. You submit the article by our agreed-upon deadline. (Deadlines are usually the 15th every other month, Feb, Apr, Jun, Aug, Oct, Dec.)
  7. We edit the article and will work with you to make things more clear. Remember to follow the guidelines in the template (which you downloaded in step 4) or we'll send the article back to you. You must provide a high resolution photo (at least two inches by three inches and at least 300 dpi) when you submit your article for editorial review.
  8. We schedule your article for print.
  9. You become famous!

That's it! Pretty simple stuff. If you have any questions please e-mail Rod at the e-mail address above.

Rod Paddock, Editor-in-Chief
